Challenge

Ahead of the back-to-school season, customers look for a one-stop-shop to purchase products for their kids. Simple Modern's large and cost effective product assortment created a barrier for purchase. In collaboration with Simple Modern, Prismfly's team was tasked with empowering customers and creating unity among product offerings.

Approach

  • Curated bundles in order to capitalize on specific shopping seasons.
  • Built a custom solution to manage hundreds of colors (thousands of combinations).
  • Introduction of tiered discounts; buy more, save more.
  • Optimize the Bundle Builder to easily curate any collection (back-to-school, barware, etc.).

Learnings

Bundling isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. While difficult, architecting a custom solution provides any team with a more sustainable path to increasing revenue per session. A well executed custom bundling experience will in turn create a friction-free product discovery experience.
